Job description & requirements
Our client, a growing healthcare staffing technology company, is looking for three results-driven Sales Representatives to help expand its healthcare staffing platform in Kenya.
The Sales Representatives will introduce the platform to healthcare professionals and healthcare facilities, assist interested users to sign up, and build relationships with healthcare facilities that may require temporary healthcare staffing solutions.
During the first few weeks, the team will focus mainly on signing up and onboarding healthcare professionals. The focus will then gradually shift towards reaching healthcare facilities, demonstrating the platform, signing them up and encouraging them to use the platform whenever they require temporary staff.
This is a hands-on sales role involving phone calls, follow-ups and field visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Introduce the healthcare staffing platform to healthcare professionals and explain how it works.
- Recruit and assist healthcare professionals to register and complete their profiles and verification.
- Follow up with professionals who have not completed registration or verification.
- Identify and approach clinics, medical centres, dental practices, hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
- Engage facility owners, administrators, HR teams and other decision-makers.
- Explain and demonstrate how the platform can help facilities find temporary healthcare professionals.
- Assist interested facilities to register and use the platform.
- Follow up with registered facilities and encourage them to post staffing needs when they require temporary coverage.
- Make sales calls, send follow-up messages and conduct in-person visits to prospective facilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of contacts, calls, visits, registrations and follow-ups.
- Provide feedback on what healthcare professionals and healthcare facilities are saying about the platform.
- Meet agreed weekly and monthly sales and sign-up targets.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate should:
- Have 1–3 years of experience in sales, field sales, business development, recruitment or customer acquisition.
- Be confident approaching and speaking with new people.
- Be comfortable making sales calls and visiting prospective customers in person.
- Have strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Be able to explain a new service clearly and confidently.
- Be comfortable using WhatsApp, email, smartphones and basic computer applications.
- Be able to work independently and meet targets.
- Be professional, organized and reliable.
- Have good spoken and written English and Kiswahili.
Experience in healthcare, medical/pharmaceutical sales, recruitment, insurance, technology sales or other field-sales roles will be an added advantage.
What Success Looks Like
- This role is not only about making calls or collecting registrations. Sales Representatives will be expected to help turn interested users into active users of the platform.
- For healthcare professionals, this means helping them move from sign-up to completed profile and verification.
- For healthcare facilities, this means moving from initial contact to registration, posting staffing needs and eventually using the platform repeatedly.
Contract Details
- This is an initial fixed-term contract from 5th October to 31st December 2026.
- Strong performers may be considered for continued engagement depending on business needs.
